These days we are immersed in electronic communications. Emails, tweets, Facebook posts, photos, videos. Everywhere we turn.
When was the last time you received a hand-written thank-you note?
This is an important piece of etiquette that is -- sadly -- falling by the wayside.
But for that very reason, it has become all the more powerful. When you take the time to write and mail a hand-written thank-you note, it really stands out. Even if you only write a sentence or two, your action often speaks louder than your words. It shows that you were touched in some way by what someone did, and that you care enough to say so.
So, get some blank cards. They don't even have to be fancy. Who can you write a quick note to right now? Push the keyboard away for 5 minutes and write it.
