The StarryTelling Festival in Kensington, Maryland invites you to celebrate astronomy and space exploration through skylore, dance, music, and awesome science. The festival will feature storytellers, artists, and dancers with performances inspired by the stars. The event will also have astronomers pointing out sunspots and moon craters, as well as a man from the Northern Stars Planetarium inviting you to crawl into his awesome inflatable universe and look up!

In order to get the word out about their awesome festival, StarryTelling came to us looking for a website with a kid friendly design, that also spoke to adults. They were also looking for a system that would allow them to manage the content easily. We created a somewhat whimsical design appropriate for children, yet still adult friendly that represented the theme of astronomy and story telling. Additionally, we used Drupal for the site's content management system as a way for them to manage their content and provide dynamic event schedule functionality that would automatically update all event listings when new acts were included in the events over time. Ultimately StarryTelling was pleased to end up with a fun and functional website that met their needs.
