Genocide Intervention Network upgrades their Drupal site in a major way!

Congratulations to Genocide Intervention Network (GI-NET) on their new website! GI-NET works with policy experts, world leaders, and anti-genocide activists to fight against genocide. They are mobilizing the first permanent anti-genocide constituency committed to stopping the worst atrocities around the world.

GI-NET came to us looking to enhance their current Drupal site with better organization that would allow them to manage their content more efficiently, making the site easier for users to navigate. They also wanted to streamline their communications with their constituents, and consolidate the way they were tracking that information. Additionally, they were looking for a fresh new design and logo that would eliminate the brand dilution that had been occurring.

We enhanced the function of their Drupal site by:

  • Upgrading to the newest version of Drupal so they could take advantage of the much-improved and simpler webmaster interface;
  • Advising them on the reorganization of their content;
  • Setting up content types, categories and views, to reduce duplication and help save staff time;
  • Moving their donation form to Ubercart (this will be launching soon); and
  • Integrating the site with Salesforce, which will help GI-NET track donations and user activity on the site.

In addition to the functional improvements we made, the site has a striking new graphic design, which compels users to dive in and get involved. GI-NET was able to get this through our relationship with blueunderground. Check out these before and after shots!
