For most of my adult life idealist.org has been at the heart of the nonprofit sector -- a nexus of inspired people who wanted to change the world. Personally, I have found numerous volunteer gigs and a full-time job through Idealist. Professionally, I have hired a couple of employees who found us through Idealist. Grand Junction Design is what it is today, largely because of the existence of Idealist.
